Melotrex for Jet Lag in Rockford

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

Circadian Rhythm Hi, it’s Samuel here again sharing sleep news for Rockford insomniacs.

I have been conducting informal research on lack of sleep effects in Rockford for several months now. So far, I have tried Reposanex and 7Hour Slumber. This upcoming week, I am eager to compare Melotrex.

Melotrex works with your body to re-set your natural circadian rhythm. No, I am not a dancer, ‘circadian rhythm’ is the scientific name for your internal body clock. All animals and plants have a natural 24-hour cycle. Circadian rhythms disorders affect your physical, mental and emotional well-being.

Circadian rhythms can be altered by pregnancy, rotating shifts and jet lag. I don’t have to worry about being pregnant, but since I will be traveling away from Rockford on business next week, I will definitely need Melotrex. I will also do yoga and my special relaxation techniques faithfully while I am away. Since I am very sensitive to disruptions in my sleep cycle, I have a bedtime ritual that I use in combination with all-natural sleep aids to help me sleep.

For more information on Melotrex, Reposanex, , and 7Hour Slumber, see Martin’s Richfield Sleep One Blog. These sleep aids are available online for all Alexander City and Marbury folks who want to re-set or maintain their sleep/wake cycle for better health and improved immunity. I don’t know about you, but I am at least a little concerned about H1N1 and other viruses that are spreading in the Rockford area. To stay healthy, make sure you get enough sleep!

Sleepless Nights in Rockford?

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

Sleepless Nights in Rockford? Welcome to Samuel’s Rockford sleep blog. Maybe it can provide some light reading for your sleepless nights if you are troubled by sleep problems. I am pretty tired (no pun intended) of not getting enough sleep. I plan to try some new Rockford sleep aids to see if they really work. I will give you updates here on my blog.

This week, I will use Melotrex and see what happens. I ordered Melotrex on http://www.bestsleepaids.net. I didn’t even need to leave my Rockford house to pick it up at a Rockford drugstore. Melotrex is relatively new but has been receiving some favorable reviews from long-time Alexander City insomniacs and Alexander City holistic health professionals.

In addition to reporting on my Rockford sleep aid results, I also plan to include some interesting facts about sleep in my Rockford insomnia blog. For example, did you know that people who regularly sleep less than five hours at night have roughly a 40 percent higher rate of heart problems (including heart attacks) than people who are able to consistently get eight hours of sleep? I have a few other risk factors for heart disease, so my chronic insomnia is even more troubling.

Here is another interesting but non-worrisome sleep factoid from the animal kingdom: Dolphins sleep while swimming using one half of their brain at a time.

I wish one half of my brain could man the controls while the other half curls up on the couch. Come to think about it, it is possible that only half of my brain is currently working. Perhaps Melotrex will help get the other half in gear.

Check back soon.

Samuel’s Rockford Sleep Diary

Friday, January 15th, 2010

Samuel's Rockford Sleep Diary If you suffer from sleep issues like many folks in Rockford, you may want to start a sleep diary. You can keep track of when you climb into bed, when you actually fall asleep, how many times you wake up during the night and when you arise in the morning. In addition, you can record other factors that may be related such as medications, stressful events, number of cups of coffee, exercise, etc.

Then you can compare these factors. Analyzing any connections may help you better understand your insomnia.

By keeping a sleep diary for a month, I was able to isolate several factors that triggered a sleepless night in my Rockford bedroom. Some of those factors, such as caffeine consumption, are controllable. Other factors, such as the occasional loud barking of my Rockford neighbor’s dog are beyond my control. When I am awakened by barking or other unexpected loud noises, I take 7Hour Slumber. I can get back to sleep fast and the whole night is not ruined.

I am Samuel Cooley. I have used most sleep aids available in Rockford, both prescription and over-the-counter. 7Hour Slumber is my favorite OTC insomnia treatment.

By keeping a sleep diary you may discover how to alter your busy Rockford lifestyle to help you get more sleep. For the nights you can’t sleep despite your best efforts, try 7Hour Slumber. I know it has helped many Rockford sleep apnea patients, also.

Here’s wishing you restful sleep tonight.

Good Sleep, Good Health in Illinois

Good Sleep, Good Health in Illinois Welcome

A few months ago, I read an interesting insomnia finding. Rockford sleep researchers observed that sleep-deprived test subjects in a recent clinical trial got used to feeling tired. At first, study participants noticed that sleep deprivation affected their energy, cognitive abilities and mental health. However, after a few days of not sleeping, their tired state began to feel normal for them.

I suffer from insomnia and live in Rockford. My name is Samuel Cooley. I have spent a lot of time studying sleep, well actually, lack of sleep. After reading about the study mentioned previously, I realized that my “tired” state had become my new “normal”. I talked to several of my Rockford friends and co-workers. I discovered that many of those that reported having trouble sleeping did not make a connection between their insomnia and various health issues.

For example, one Alexander City insomniac who is an elementary school teacher told me that she often had trouble concentrating while talking to her students. A Goodwater man who works in my office catches every sickness going around and it seems to take him an unusually long time to get better.

Actually, many health problems can be caused by lack of sleep. Prolonged insomnia should never be ignored.

If you can’t sleep, I recommend Melotrex. Melotrex has helped me tremendously. As my sleep has improved, my health has improved also. You can learn more about Melotrex at http://www.bestsleepaids.net.

Don’t let ‘tired’ become ‘normal’. Use Melotrex for good sleep and good health
